Want to get through security faster on a domestic flight?

Want to get through security faster on your next domestic flight?

Do you travel for business or leisure? Standing in a long line at the airport, removing your shoes, taking out laptops, and placing your liquids in a separate container are just some of the things we look forward to at the airport security areas. How can you help expedite this process and make it faster and easier?

I’m sure you’ve heard about TSA pre-check, but what is it?

TSA PreCheck

This is a membership run by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA); therefore, it is only accepted for domestic flights only – not at international airport locations. There are over 200 airport locations which accept this membership.

What does TSA PreCheck do for you? Typically, this is a dedicated line at the airport with less intrusive security measures. You may keep your light jackets, shoes, belts on as you pass through screening. Laptops and liquids can also stay in your carry-on bags. Traveling with child? No problem, they will likely also have TSA PreCheck if you booked on the same itinerary.

Make your current TSA PreCheck FASTER

Already have TSA PreCheck and want to make it even faster at the airport? There are a few airlines that participate in TSA PreCheck Touchless Identity Solutions. If you opt-in to this technology, your identity can be verified without showing your ID at the bag drop, security checkpoint, and the boarding gate. TSA uses facial recognition technology to verify your ID from your passport or identification at certain airports. TSA has partnered with United and Delta for this program. You still should have your identification in hand, but this process will most certainly reduce your wait in the security line.

Adding this on is as simple as adding your passport number or identification information into the Delta or United airline app before you arrive to the airport. Once validated, it will show TSA PreCheck + Digital ID on the boarding pass.
